Claro Advisors
Dana Rowen has built his practice on one principle: quality service isn't something you scale back. It's something you protect.

Vice President, Wealth Advisor
Dana Rowen has spent his career doing one thing: being genuinely useful to the people he works with. As a Wealth Advisor and Vice President at Claro, he guides clients through a financial planning process that covers the full picture — net worth, cash flow, retirement, education, insurance, and estate planning.
Dana prides himself on being service-oriented, with relationships built on trust — regular check-ins, honest conversations, and plans that actually evolve as life does. Before joining Claro, Dana spent eight years as a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley in Wellesley and two years at Eaton Vance in marketing — experience that gives him a sharp understanding of both the client side and the industry side of wealth management.
He earned a BS in Business Management from Babson College and is one of Claro's founding advisors, having been part of the firm since its earliest days.
When do you want to stop working — and what does that actually look like? We map out the path and keep you on it.
Protecting what you've built and making sure it goes where you want. We coordinate the details so nothing is left to chance.
Whether it's a 529 or a broader savings strategy, we help families plan for the cost of education without derailing everything else.
The right coverage at the right time. We assess your exposure and help you protect your income, your family, and your assets.
Know exactly where you stand. We build a clear picture of what's coming in, what's going out, and where you're headed.
Portfolios built to support your goals, not chase benchmarks. We stay disciplined and stay in your corner through every market cycle.
We begin by understanding where you are: your assets, income, expenses, insurance, and what you're trying to protect or build. No assumptions. No shortcuts.
Using everything we've learned, we develop a financial plan that covers retirement, estate, education, and insurance in one coherent strategy — tailored to your life, not a template.
We implement the plan across your accounts and investments, making sure each piece supports the whole. Coordination, not compartmentalization.
Life changes. Your plan should too. We meet consistently — because staying current with your situation is how we stay useful to you.
Dana works with individuals and families across a wide range of life stages — from people building wealth in their 40s and 50s to those approaching or already in retirement. His clients tend to value a relationship-driven approach and want an advisor who will stay engaged, ask good questions, and give them honest guidance over the long term.
Dana takes a comprehensive approach that includes net worth and cash flow analysis, retirement planning, education funding, insurance review, and estate planning. The goal is to have everything in one integrated strategy, not a collection of separate conversations
Regular meetings are a cornerstone of Dana's practice. He believes staying current on your situation is how an advisor actually earns your trust — so he builds consistent check-ins into the relationship from the start.
