About your advisor

Jared Gagne, CFP®

Wealth Advisor

Jared Gagne, CFP®, is a Wealth Advisor at Claro Advisors who helps high-net-worth individuals and families bring structure and simplicity to complex financial lives. Many of his clients are executives and professionals navigating high-stakes decisions — equity compensation, concentrated stock positions, tax strategy, trust and estate planning, family gifting, philanthropy, and major life transitions — without the time or desire to manage every moving part.

Jared's goal is to coordinate that complexity, uncover blind spots and inefficiencies, and ensure each decision fits into a plan aligned with his clients' goals and values. His approach is grounded in honesty, transparency, and clear decision-making — he serves as a sounding board for life's pivotal moments and builds long-term relationships that go well beyond the portfolio.

Prior to joining Claro, Jared spent three years at Merrill Lynch advising clients on comprehensive wealth planning and tax-efficient investment strategy. Outside the office, he serves on the Emerging Leaders Council for Good Sports, supporting equitable access to youth athletics — and you'll find him at Fenway most summer nights.

HOW WE WORK

What it looks like to work together.

01

Understand Your Full Picture

Before anything else, we get the full picture — your assets, liabilities, income, taxes, estate, and everything in between. Most clients are surprised by what's connected.

02

Identify What's Missing

Blind spots are expensive. We look for inefficiencies, missed opportunities, and decisions that don't connect to the bigger goal — and flag them before they cost you.

03

Build the Plan

We build a cohesive plan that ties your financial decisions together — investment strategy, tax efficiency, estate structure, and timeline — all aligned with what you actually want.

04

Put It in Motion

Implementation is where most plans fall apart. We stay on it — coordinating with CPAs, attorneys, and other advisors to make sure nothing gets lost in the handoffs.

05

Stay in It Together

Your life changes. Your plan should too. We review regularly, revisit assumptions, and make sure every decision still fits where you're headed.

COMMON QUESTIONS

FAQs

What types of clients do you work with?

I primarily work with high-net-worth individuals and families — executives, business owners, and professionals who have accumulated real complexity in their financial lives. Many are navigating equity compensation, significant investment portfolios, estate considerations, or major transitions. What they have in common: they want someone to coordinate the whole picture, not just manage one piece of it.

What does working with you actually look like?

We start with a comprehensive look at your full financial picture — everything from assets and cash flow to tax strategy, estate documents, and insurance. From there, we build a plan that connects the dots, identify what's missing or inefficient, and implement it with your other advisors (CPA, attorney, etc.) in the loop. Ongoing, we meet regularly to review and adjust as your life changes.

How do you charge for your services?

Claro Advisors is a fee-only, fiduciary RIA — which means we're compensated only by our clients, never by commissions or product sales. Our fees are based on assets under management, and that fee covers financial planning, investment management, and ongoing access to your advisor. Additional costs may apply, including custodial fees, fund-level expenses, or third-party manager fees, depending on your portfolio. I'll walk you through the full fee structure in our first conversation. Our full fee schedule is described in our Form ADV Part 2A, available at https://adviserinfo.sec.gov/firm/summary/160294 or upon request.

What makes your approach different?

Most of my clients come in having had their investments managed but looking for someone to connect the dots across their broader financial life. I think about the whole picture — tax strategy, estate, equity, giving — and I stay actively involved in making sure every decision fits together. That coordination is where we focus our energy — and where clients often find the most meaningful impact.

How do I get started?

The first step is a conversation — no prep work required on your end. We'll talk through where you are, what's keeping you up at night, and whether working together makes sense. If it does, we'll take it from there.
